Showmanship and Handling Events for Young Breeders!

We are hosting a series of showmanship and handling events for Young Breeders, happening the evening before A&P shows this season!

These events are designed to teach young ones tips and tricks for handling their animals in the ring, helping them develop better skills for Young Handler classes. It’s an educational and fun opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and get involved with the Holstein Friesian NZ community.

Events:

• Waikato A&P Show: Thursday, 31 October, 5.30pm
• Canterbury A&P Show: Tuesday, 12 November, 5.30pm
• Stratford A&P Show: Friday, 29 November, 5.30pm
• Gore A&P Show: Date and time TBC

The events will be run by the team that attended the 2023 European Young Breeders School and are open to kids aged 14 years and under. Participants are encouraged to bring their own calf if it is at the show.
