SUMMARY:Functional Cow for Dairy Farming - Young Breeders Evening
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thursday 7th May at 7:00PM for our HFNZ Webinar featuring Dr Carl Eden\, Technical Services Manager – Livestock ANZ\, Boehringer Ingelheim. Hypocalcaemia affects up to half of transition cows and carries hidden costs through poorer health\, production\, fertility\, and increased culling. In this session\, Carl will explain why calcium demand at calving overwhelms traditional feeding strategies\, particularly in pasture based systems\, and how targeted oral calcium supplementation can support cows when it matters most. Learn which cows are most at risk\, why the first 24 hours post calving are critical\, and how evidence based calcium strategies can improve herd outcomes and profitability. 📌 Register now to secure your spot📲 Stay updated via our Facebook event page We look forward to you joining us for this practical\, science driven session.
