Autumn classification is available in the Waikato and Canterbury areas.
To make the tours viable, they’ll be dependent on the final number of participants. If numbers don’t meet the tour threshold, these classifications will be at cost recovery.
There are multiple benefits to having your animals scored under the TOP (Traits Other Than Production) system.
They include improving sire selection and providing an objective assessment of an animal.

If you are applying for classification in 2022 and have participated in either Holstein Friesian Genetic Leaders or Discovery Project, remember you are entitled to the following discounts on your classification:
Holstein Friesian Genetic Leaders classification discount Do you have Holstein Friesian Genetic Leaders daughters? If you classify them in the 2022 season, you’ll receive a rebate of $11.40 per heifer classified. Under the current classification pricing structure, this allows you to get almost two heifers classified for the price of one.
Discovery Project classification discount Any two-year-old Discovery heifer (s) inspected in 2022, are entitled to a discount of 10% for one Discovery heifer and a further 5% for any subsequent Discovery heifers classified at the same time (up to a maximum 30% discount).
